Interpol...

Nothing wrong with another Interpol track from their 5th album. Such an intriguing voice he has. I also noticed that whenever you hear this band, a lot of songs sound kind of the same but then they aren't. Hard to explain but you'll have to see for yourself and the only way to do that is to play albums. I suggest you start with 'Turn on the bright lights' 🎧 πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Interpol - Anywhere

Sonic Youth...

The pioneer of so many music genres. I especially like their raw and pure sound, and that there is a female and a male voice. Never took enough time to appreciate them, until today. Here's a track from one of their amazing lp's. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Sonic Youth - Tuff Gnarl

Mark Lanegan...

I've been listening all day to this guy. His baritone voice is what makes it all so special. Album you should definitely check out: "Bubblegum" πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Mark Lanegan - Sister

Don Caballero...

Some days ago I discovered another subgenre of Rock, "Math Rock". So basically it's all about the melody and rythm. Guitar plays atypical rythms. Which makes it interesting to listen. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Don Caballero - Railroad Cancellation

Ahkmed...

Another song I found from this "playlist that was brought by God himself". I ordered their digital album 5 minutes ago for about 4 euros. I think it's worth it, if you happen to like this band a lot, then I will put a link to their Bandcamp account down below. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Ahkmed - T=O Bandcamp.Ahkmed

Tangerine Stoned...

This is a perfect example, fine art piece, marvellous, pearl, whatever you want but it's the definition of Psychedelic Rock. Found this in a 5 hour long playlist on Youtube and it's like I found a treasure... Song after song you find goldies yet they're almost all pretty unknown. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Tangerine Stoned - L'urlo della strega

Cat Stevens...

Just another classic track. I find it very fitting for all things that are happening nowadays. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Cat Stevens - Wild World

Air...

A french electronic/ambient group is my most recent discovery. It feels like I got the best present ever for christmas when I'm listening to them. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Air - Cherry Blossom Girl

The Dead Weather...

A great sound, that's what this band has. Not a big surprise if you got members from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and Queens Of The Stone Age in your band. If you like big fat guitar riffs, you'll probably like this. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» The Dead Weather - Hustle and Cuss

Bronski Beat...

Just a classic track. Thought you might like it πŸ˜ƒ πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy

Slowdive...

If you know Slowdive then you can already imagine what this song would sound like... Ambient... dreamy... mysterious... warm... Simply beautiful. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Slowdive - Slomo

Prophets Of Rage...

A pretty new band consisting of members from Cypress Hill, Public Enemy and Rage Against The Machine. Just like RATM did, this band tries to open people's eyes by making strong lyrics. Pay attention if you don't know what I mean. All I know is that my time for the next weeks will go to POR. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Prophets Of Rage - Prophets Of Rage

Zapp...

Listen to this and tell me if it can get any more funky than it is right now. I cannot sit still when I hear this. I discovered 'Zapp' on Spotify while I was going through some funk artists. Definitely on my 'to do list' : check all the albums of Zapp. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Zapp - Doo Wa Ditty

Darius...

A nice track to play on a summer day. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Darius - Espoir

J. Bernardt...

Heard this song yesterday and I had to Shazam it. It was too good to let it pass. The artist plays in Balthazar, another band I like. Because Balthazar is taking a brake for a while some of the members started their own project. His album is pretty damn good. (released in june 2017) πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» J.Bernardt - Wicked Streets

Moby...

When the music is so strong you feel like you're in another world. This is what Moby's music can do with a listener. His album: Wait For Me ,  is an ambient album so that means it creates a dreamy atmosphere. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Moby - Wait For Me

Anderson Paak...

Groove and vibes is what this is. Amazing performance from A. Paak and his friends. I love the casuality the "no stress" vibe they all bring. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals...

Alice In Chains...

A song I've known for a while now. It's been some time I heard this song but since I had to make a presentation about Seattle, this bands hometown, I had to hear it again. I prefer the MTV unplugged version because those performances are more intimate and that's perfect for this song. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Alice In Chains - Nutshell

Moaning cities...

A small psychedelic rock band from Brussels. I just love their sound. Moaning Cities - Vertigo Rising

Summer...

With the summer just around the corner, this song stimulates you to go out or enjoy the good weather. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Yves LaRock - Rise Up

Meechy Darko...

Member of Flatbush Zombies. I just love the flow of the song and his voice makes it exceptionally good. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Meechy Darko - Gotta

Peter Green...

Searching on Youtube and once again I came across a beauty of a song. Some slow blues, with good vocals. You might know or recognise his voice from the band Fleetwood Mac. Green was the founder of this band. A perfect late night song in my opinion. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Peter Green - Fool No More

Cage The Elephant...

Love this band so much, they're just sooo casual. It's something you can literally listen to on every moment of the day. Also great music for making your homework. Here's a link to one of their albums. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Cage The Elephant - Melophobia

Oddisee...

This song is brilliant, notice how the drummer sort of communicates with the singer/rapper.  If you're interested in the lyrics, look in the comments. He sings about the flaws of the government... πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Oddisee - Like really

Massive Attack...

I feel angry right now, not because of the music no, not at all but because I didn't gave this band a chance to listen to. I saw this band passing by and for some reason I didn't felt checking their discography. Now I regret it so much because I started listening their debut album maybe 10 minutes ago and... The first song is a direct hit. Such a famous and big band but still so unknown to me. Here is their first song of their debut album: Blue Lines, hopefully you'll experience the same kind of magic I experienced when I heared it. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Massive Attack - Safe From Harm

Yellow days...

Found this artist on my favorite vlogger's channel, he amazes me with his taste of music. True music! Nothing more to say, you should listen it. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Yellow Days - My Own Way

Brilliant, I only know a handful of their songs but every single one of them is incredibly good. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Compact Disk Dummies - What You Want

Cruising...

This is exactly the reason why I often play albums of QOTSA while I'm riding my bike. It's the perfect combination for a fun ride. Their albums never make me blow up when I'm riding. "The perfect amount of adrenaline and the perfect amount of Rock" πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Queens Of The Stone Age - Infinity

This song rocks! It lets you forget about everything and you would leave everything behind to start a new life in God knows where. At least that's what I feel, lol. Enjoy! πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You

Treasure...

This is a new band I know for about 30 minutes. Clicked on one of their albums and it's amazing. They play psychedelic rock, so if you like rock and you're open for something completely different. You definitely have to try this! Pulp...

By reading an article about brit pop, I stumbled upon PULP. The album: "Different Class" should be one of the best brit pop albums, so I gave it a shot and now... Well, now I'm a fan :D πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Pulp - I spy

Queens Of The Stone Age...

Last few days I barely had time to listen to music. This night I can finally spend time discovering and enjoying new music. Now this is not new but there never has been a moment i couldn't listen to QOTSA. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Queens of The Stone Age - Vampyre Of Time And Memory

Goodnight...

I'll end this streak with another song in my Youtube playlist. I like the beat, maybe not everyone's style but you can't like everything I guess... πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Night Lovell - Beneath

Cover :O...

This guy is nailing Jimi Hendrix's song. Something I always liked doing was watching guitar covers of some crazy technical songs. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”Ί Voodoo Child - Jimi Hendrix (acoustic cover)

This song...

Hahaha I remember it so well. The night I found this song, I was so happy. I took a shower with this song it's really great, you should try it! πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You

So I have a playlist on Youtube and usually I put those songs every 2 weeks on my phone. It has been 3 months! Since I updated my phone with songs. Oriens...

I just went to the album release of a local band called Oriens. It was great, a good friend of mine is the lead guitarist and he just shreds all the solos. Unfortunately they only have one song on Youtube. On the second link you can listen to some other songs. Please give it a chance and bare in mind these guys are only 19 years old! πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Oriens - King Of The World - ORIENS

Thundercat...

An album that is getting a lot of fame on social media lately. It got released a couple days ago so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's an album full of silly lyrics and weird concepts but I'm a fan of the sound and instrumental parts. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Thundercat - Drunk

Foals...

Genius song! The build up, the guitar, the drums,... I learned to appreciate when I saw them live. You have to listen to the full song to understand what I'm saying. By the way, if you're reading this, I love how I made the description in the shape of stairs :D I want that guitar effect at 4:06 so badly! πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Foals - Late Night
