Something I always had with music is a certain genre or era that interests me for a while, this can be for 2 weeks or sometimes for months. Right now it's the 80's and New Wave in particular. It started 3 weeks ago when I saw the series: Stranger Things and it featured a song from New Order. ↪  Click Here So what I do is try to listen most of their discograpy and find their best songs. Some examples: Joy Divison, New Order, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Talking Heads, ... What I like about them is most of them use synthesizers or electronic sounds along with beautiful guitar riffs.
