Top 3 Albums 2016...

These are my 3 best albums of 2016.

1) Anderson Paak - Malibu: A funky hip hop album sung by an american/korean singer who started with music by drumming. The album itself goes personal as he sings about his youth and the difficult relationship between his father and his mother. His unique voice is being noticed in the hip hop culture because he got to cooperate with other rappers like Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar, The Game,...

2) Kaytranada - 99,9%: Made by a music producer born in Haiti who lived most of his life in Canada. This album is the perfect combination between funk, R&B, and dance which makes it perfect for club music, at least in my opininion. He also worked with famous artists like the crazy individual: Anderson Paak, Vic Mensa, BADBADNOTGOOD, Goldlink,...
I know i say this quite a lot but you seriously have to listen to it!

3) Nick Cave and the bad seeds - Skeleton Tree : The third place was hard to choose but i went for this one and not for the new album of A Tribe Called Quest because it suprised me pretty hard that I would actually like this album. It gives a wavy sound combined with rock and a beautiful voice.
A friend recommended me to listen to it and it wasn't what I expected it to be but it ended up as a spontaneous discovery.

Brilliant, I only know a handful of their songs but every single one of them is incredibly good. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Compact Disk Dummies - What You Want

Don Caballero...

Some days ago I discovered another subgenre of Rock, "Math Rock". So basically it's all about the melody and rythm. Guitar plays atypical rythms. Which makes it interesting to listen. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Don Caballero - Railroad Cancellation

Tangerine Stoned...

This is a perfect example, fine art piece, marvellous, pearl, whatever you want but it's the definition of Psychedelic Rock. Found this in a 5 hour long playlist on Youtube and it's like I found a treasure... Song after song you find goldies yet they're almost all pretty unknown. πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”»πŸ”ΊπŸ”» Tangerine Stoned - L'urlo della strega
